Fine Motor skills are those skills that require the small muscles of the hand to work together to perform precise and refined movements.
An Occupational Therapist developed the Tricky Fingers' fine motor program. It consists of a series of fine motor activities to develop the hand's muscles and support the development of a dynamic pencil grasp. The program includes printable activities, a video demonstrating the desired finger movements, and each exercise's execution. The activities are fun, easy to prepare, and low cost. It can be used as an individual home program by parents to support fine motor development or as activity centers in the classroom. 8 Different activities with 3-4 different worksheets/images that can be used with each activity.
This program may be copied for use in therapy, the classroom, or provided as a home program or support teletherapy services.
